Was looking for a good Italian as my husbands Italian and was missing his moms home cooking, was recommended to go thre by a friend, what can i say, Had a fantastic experience from the moment we entered, Everyone was very welcoming, very busy place, didnt like the fact that the pretty waitress took a shine to my husband, spoke to him when taking order and ignored me completely so will not be taking him there again. FOod was really tasty, warm and eatable, wine was tasteful and desserts were good!! I would recommend this joint to everyone, wether your dining for 2 or 20 its good.

I visited the resturant whilst over at a hen weekend from belfast, We where dragged in by a charming gentleman standing at the entrance while we where on a quest for a light bite and enjoyed every second of it, The food was fantastic and the staff where simply brilliant, if i visit glasgow again i will be back withought doubt

Absolutely fantastic! Went in on Valentine's day and couldn't have asked for more. Old italian man standing at the door in a tuxedo offering the ladies a red rose as they entered the restaurant. Sprinking rose petals on your table as you sat down. And the customary rendition of Dean Martin's Amoire whislt you ate! The food was superb, i highly recommend the Crostini Gamberoni for starters if your a prawn lover. Would go again in a heart beat, totally made my valentine's day a special one. X

I had last visited Topolinos earlier this year and the food was exemplary. I was pleasantly surprised to visit again and find that it had been refurbished, giving it a 'chic' look. I visited on a Saturday night, and regretted not booking as I had to wait 15 minutes for a table, however, prices were good, service was good, and the food was excellent. The presentation of the food was quite impressive, I have eaten in Paperinos, which is upstairs, and have found that it is more a 'pizza joint' Whereas Topolinos seems to be more fine dining.

the italian place next door to here was full so rather than wait we went in to topolinos. as we got to the bottom of the stairs we noticed it was empty except for 2 tables. warning signals rang but we decided to give it a chance. we were shown to a very sticky table. Our soup was very nice tasted but only slightly warm and the butter we were given was very "off" and the bread was stale. Maine course tasted fine but was also only slightly warm. desert was lovely. Irn bru was flat. this was in a bottle so should have been fizzy made me think the bottle had been filled from a larger bottle. topolinos was cheaper than next door but i would much rather have paid the other prices for a better meal. If a place is busy in future i will wait until i can be seated
