My first visit to Topolinos was back in 2008 and since i have returned on 7-9 different occasions.
The main reason for me returning is the quality of food and the friendliness of staff. The portions are always generous and even on the one occasion on which the food was a little salty the chef served up a new dish!
I have been back with family, work colleagues and friends whom have always ejoyed the experience.
The halal option makes eating at this place a must!

I went to Topolinos with my boyfriend for a Valentines evening meal. On entry it looked ok, reasonably quiet and romantically lit, although very quiet for Valentine's Day. The problems started almost immediately when it was apparent that our Valentines meal which had been advertised with a complimentary glass of wine was in fact false advertising. We were onot offered a complimentary glass of anything, which is disgraceful really considering the full cost of the meal was over £80. Rather than making a scene, my boyfriend ordered overpriced wine from the list and two glasses of coke.
The food was clearly not Italian. I ordered chicken with red wine sauce. What I received was butterfly breast of chicken in GRAVY with pieces of black pepper floating in it and a side dish which contained a few oily pieces of green beans, potato and one piece of carrot.
On leaving the restaurant, the waiter presented me with 2 red roses. I felt uncomfortable as he had been quite offensive throughout and personally I can't see why it would be acceptable to present someone else's girlfriend with red roses whether it is valentines or not. I accepted to be polite, but I would have preferred the supposed complimentary glass of wine earlier, better food and something which resembled table service.
We will not be back as this is the worst valentine's meal/experience I've ever had.
