Very ordinary food, I went with 2 others and ordered 11 tapas dishes. The best dishes (and they were just above ok) were the seafood paella , the meatballs and the patatas bravas the rest were average to poor.

The poor dishes; chicken in white white and garlic , driest chicken i've tasted in a restaurant; rib eye steak, ridiculously chewy and three quarters of it potatoes; lamb (casserole, spanish?) again over loaded with potatatoes; chorizo in red wine (i've tasted spicier and better chorizo from the supermarket)

The average dishes: Deep fried sea food (Squid , King prawns,Whitebait and Tuna); king prawns smothered in 'olive' oil; Pork spare ribs.

We also had the spanish omelette (with potatoes) that looked just too un-appetising that no one ate it.

Overall I have to say this was very dissapointing , we had 3 appletisers to drink and some bread and olives to start and it came to £50 , not cheap for lunch. I cannot believe this is authentic spanish tapas and I won't be returning.

I have been here 3 times in last month and I am going again tonight. La Tasca is fantastic, food is wonderful, service is great (waiters good looking) which always helps.

Value for money 10 out of 10.

This place was absolutely amazing the food was delicious and the atmosphere was supperb. We were not rushed through any of our dishes and even although 2 of our group arrived latter on it was still fine. We will deffinately be going back there to spend a Sat afternoon with our friends.

Great food, great atmosphere, really good for groups or for a couple to have a nice authentic Spanish tapas meal. Quick service.
