Dino's

.... Sure, some people are never happy about being ripped off, Tracy! My wife and I ate at Dino's recently and, yes, it was like going back to the bleak and pitiful restaurant standards of 40 years ago. Surely this place is some sort of time-warp joke?

If Dino's offered this standard of food in Italy, they would get the same treatment from the Italians as Mussolini got.

i have eaten here twice recently and have thoroughly enjoyed both meals, some people just never happy!!!

fully agree with your review.if you want to know how it is to eat at the zoo then go to dino's.

staff wil throw the menu and the food at you and they dont even seem to enjoy it.

didnt see a smile the whole evening.

while eating they started cleaning the place!!!

To sample Dinos we had the pre-theatre menu. All 4 of our party through this was a total dud at £9.45 for 2 courses.

Friendly but clueless service. Dull, dull food. Starters boring, breaded prawns pretty tasteless, melon just that with no embellishment to give it appeal. Main course of trout was okay but with gloopy sauce and uninspired veg. Pasta al forno was a small gratin dish containing what appeared to be various bits of left-over pasta with white sauce, cheese, and a miniscule amount of the promised Bolognese sauce (a fraction of what you get in a ready meal). That's yer lot. Coffee was frothy but no discernible taste of coffee. Restaurants could maybe get away with this standard of food in the 1960's, but not by the mid-70's. They even have laminated menus! And this was the restaurant, not the cafe. Heck, you wouldn't invite friends to dinner and serve this unappealing stuff, so why would you want to go out and be ripped off £9.45 each for it plus drinks and coffee?

Wouldn't go back to Dinos.
