The Butchershop

My husband and son are fans of The Butchershop and we have had some very good steaks here. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a nice New York steakhouse feel to it, though it can get rather noisy. Consistency is a bit of a problem and sometimes the kitchen struggles to cook steaks as requested. We have sent back dishes and these are replaced without any fuss but surely it would be easier (and cheaper for the restaurant) to get it right first time? They also seem to want diners in and out in record time, which is fine if we are just after a quick supper but not ideal if you are on a date. We go back as we like the atmosphere and the food can be very good.
