Having stayed in the hotel next to the restaurant for 2 days I had lunch and dinner there. The best food outside of Italy, and i've been to Italy a few times. The lunch was £6.50, generous sized portions and free garlic bread and drink. Should try the pork fillets!!! I had the Seafod Risotto for dinner, a really nice Btl of Pinot Grigio. Staff were warm and polite, as was the atmosphere. 5 STARS.

Only an hour for lunch & we passed this place many times, Went in today & had pasta and pork fillets. Both done beautifully, Nice bottle of house wine Montepulciano, added bonus
Service fast and friendly. Will definitely visit again. Very quiet but thats a good thing at lunch atmosphere is only required if company is not so good.

such a lovely restaurant, the scent of food being served is a clear indication of the made on the premises type of food served here.
Maybe not the busiest area of Glasgow, but you can be sure that only serious foodies will be found in this restaurant. Owners are not willing to stick mushrooms in every dish on the menu. Very good wines on sale, dessert also made on the premises. Well worth a visit, and by the way you can actually have a conversation with your dinner guest without the fairground affect in the background.
