Tao Bar and Restaurant

We booked for the Tao on Friday night at 7 pm but although the staff were extremely friendly, apart from the two of us and I think another party of four hidden behind part of a wall there were no other diners and the adjoining bar area was also deserted....must be a late night spot?

As far as the meal was concerned,it was ok but not outstanding compared to many other Chinese restaurants and not a patch on it`s other property, the Dragon I. All in all a bit of a disappointment

Great bar! It would really appeal to everyone that enjoys a good drink and well made cocktail! The bar snacks were brilliant!

Tao Bar: Oh My God! This restaurant is fabulous! There were 8 of us and everyone's meal was marvellous. Fantastic waiter, who remembered everyones order and was very efficient. The cocktail was served in the bar after the meal and was lovely. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will definatly go back. For 8 people's 3 course meal with 2 bottles of wine, 2 large beers and service charge was £22 each!
