Pulcinella

Walking up Hope Street on another dreary night in Glasgow with my girlfriend in hand we passed by this delightful little restaurant, we decided to go in for just a coffee to warm our bones but the menu was so good and reasonably priced we decided to just have dinner too.

Since then we have been back several times, every year on our anniversary we visit and absolutley love it.

I've tried pretty much every dish and can say its the best italian in town (honestly)

the Vitello Mialinese is by far the best I've tasted in the UK.

the staff are never too busy to smile and on their quieter nights will chat away to you.

I strongly recomend eating here.

Visited this restuarant on 15/2/11 at lunchtime. Food was very reasonably priced,service good and the food was delicious .A real find . Will definitely be back.

My partner and i wen to Pulcinella last night 21/08/10 for a pre theatre. Although it was Saturday the restaurant was not full and there was several tables available. After waiting five minuets at the door we were taken to our table (which was booked), After ordering our drinks it was a further 20 mins before our order was taken. After our starter which we enjoyed it was again a further 20-25 mins before our main came which i can best dscribe as 'average'. After our dinner we sat for a further 15 mins and we were not offered the dessert menu. When we asked for the bill dessert was offered then but we politely refused. The bill took that long to get to us we decided to go to the bar to pay it and when we got ther it was not even made up and had to stand while they calculated this. Remember this was in a restaurant that was far from being busy. Not an enjoyable night and we wont be going back. Service very poor. Food average.

We've visited a few times now. Always impressed with the food. The Lunch and Pre-theatre menus are extremely good value. Staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

Pulcinella is located near my office so is often a favourite for myself and my staff during lunch. I find their business lunch very reasonable and their service professionally and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

a group of us went to Pulcinella and from the minute we walked in it was special. The service and food was so good. Everything about the place is real from decor, to the food to the staff. We all said we,ll be back.

Enjoyed a Pre-theatre meal until we got to dessert when we were offered cheesecake or one last portion of profiterols between us. Only when we complained were we grudginly offered one choice while they had plenty of other desserts. A poor way to treat customers and so poor service.
