I love the Griffin and have lunch there every time we go across the road to the theatre which is quite a lot through out the year. The food and the service are tremendous as is the portion size. The menu choice is really good with something there to suit most tastes.... even down to the Glasgow salad.... I am continually surprised when I am served my lunch at the quality and size of portion that is cheerfully delivered to the table...... One really good feature is that you can have a wee nosey in at the kitchen as you pass through into the next seating area/bar on the way to the toilets. Nothing to hide there, kitchen staff from chef to kitchen porters are spotlessly clean. Yep we definitely love it there. Night times bring on a variety of people to chat a while with from local celebs to your typical Glasgow folks.... all friendly with a story to tell. You certainly won't feel like a stranger here.
