Alla Turca - The Turkish Melody

We all thoroughly enjoyed our 3 courses at Alla Turca. Good food and good service in a nice setting, perfect for a romantic dinner.

If your looking for good Turkish food, DON'T GO HERE. The worst meal we have eaten in a long time. meze ok, main meal consisted of 80% bread 10% burnt lamb & 10% yoghurt. What little sauce there was was tasteless. We were charged almost £5 for bread & olives we didn't ask for and a further 10% on top for service. The service was good & we would have left a tip but would prefer to decide ourselves whether service merited a tip or not. We love Turkish food so were very disappointed- this did not compare in any way to the wonderful food we have eaten in Turkey when we holiday there twice a year.

First time I have eaten in a turkish restaurant. The live music added to the atmosphere and was not so loud that you could not hear the conversation going on. Food was enjoyable. Wine list limited and a wee bit pricey. Overall a very good night out!

The restaurant is lovely. A cosy, warm welcome awaits you and te traditional musc is a lovely touch. The meze starters were fabulous. Tasty and aromatic. The main meals on The Taste of Turkey Menu were slightly disappointing. They lacked as mch flavour and the rice was overcooked. There was a great choice of deserts and the service was very professional, efficient and welcoming. All in all a great new restaurant that I will visit again

What a fantastic place! The meal was a taste explosion and the service was excellent. The dancing and the music also added to the magic of the night.A wonderful time was had by all!!! I would definately reccommend that you try it. It was definately a turkish delight.

I quite liked the mezas but was dissappointed at the fact that as my party was over 6 i could not order any other starter.

I thought the menu was quite limited and it could be quite expensive too. We weren't offered any pudding and just had bill put down in front of us. Wouldnt go again.

Hosted a large Birthday Meal at Alla Turca recently. Food and service were second to none. Friendly, attentive staff made it a night to remember for us all. Excellent.
