La Bonne Auberge

Visited this restaurant for a birthday meal myself and my partner. Although food was very nice the portions a bit on the small side but the plates were huge-we had to move things off the table! Service a bit slow and having to remind waiter about our drinks. Didn't bother with dessert as we thought we would still be hungry after it-I do like to stuff myself when out for a meal! But we got goodies from the shop before going home!

18 of us went to La Bonne Auberge in Glasgow Sat 9th Aug. Food was excellent. Service good until dessert menus being offered when waitress spilled glass of red wine over 2 of our party. Spilled glass was replaced but request for complimentary drinks for 2 very wet customers was denied until we suggested they consider cost of dry-cleaning 2 outfits. Afterwards we found level of service poor. We had to request a bottle of wine three times before it was served to us. Our bill was £600 , therefore, we did feel that service was not as good as it should have been.

The steak that i had was tough like rubber. Dessert is not good either. Service is average. But convenient as its next to cinema.
