Brian Maule at Chardon d'Or Restaurant

I was there with 3 guests last week. The restaurant is very attractive from the outside as is the interior. The food quality is first class and there is also a good wine list. Service was not quite up to par simply because there were only 2 front of house staff and, even though it was a quiet Tuesday evening, they were under pressure for much of the time. They tried very hard and were professional and friendly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it. The following day I received an email from one of the guests saying "the restaurant was magnificent."

Was treated to an anniversary/birthday dinner on Saturday at Brian Maule's restaurant in Glasgow. Had a really fantastic meal, definately best beef fillet steak I have ever tasted. Cooked exactly the way I asked and service was 1st class. The young female who took our order was very informative and extremely knowledgable on the restaurant's "cheese" selection. Last time I dined in his restaurant was about 3 years ago - won't be leaving it that long again. Thanks Brian & Staff for a really memorable evening.

My partner and I wined and dined at this restaurant for the first time on Friday 6th March. It was a delightful experience and we will most certainly return, especially to the next dinner dance as the entertainment was superb. Lovely restaurant, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere.
